Software Developer - Plano, TX

Description:

• The have been developing internal apps to faciliate internal business processes.
• They did proof of concept already and now need a programmer to take it, program it, and make sure not full of bugs.
• Need someone to take process flow developed, program to include some peripheral items trying to get included, and make a robust program they can use. Most of theeir apps are business improvement: document tracking, quotation tools so someone who has this skillset to jump in and hit the ground running.
• Need to automate how MS suite talks to each other and how it communicates to the software side.
• Intertek/team has been using the MS suite: Teams, sharepoint, MS dynamics etc. Brunno said it would be nice to keep same layout and intergrate with teams.
• Their external interface is through MS forms. Products are HVAC units, appliances, Alexa, commercial products.
• Their operational interface is through a SharePoint

Day to day:

• Will spend a week to understand the system, roll it out into that programming language that will integrate with their sytem and build out peripherals needed (assumes it will be a 2-3 month process but manager is guessing)
• Will move onto 2nd app and figure out what need for that, develop internall, roll out, and make sure robust.
• Then will move into getting the 3rd system and get that rolled out

• The 3rd one we are fixing to do that application
• Primarily been using SharePoint, Teams, MS Dynamics
• Want to keep the same layout, integrate it with Teams platform
• Look to bring them on as soon as we identify a candidate

Top 3 skill:

• Programming
• Take process flow they’ve developed, program it to include peripheral items they are acquiring,
• Business improvement applications- document tracking, quotation tools, someone that has that skill set and can jump in
• Doesn’t know the programming languages- they’ve been using MS Sharepoint Automate and Forms
• Suring up the interface and during up the back end
• Build out peripherals they need. Integrate, is this the right tool, troubleshoot
• Interface with their global team, goal is to roll it out across the company
• These apps are 2 interfaces- external is MS Forms, operational is through SharePoint
• Can use corporate log ins for MS Dynamics/website options
• Be able to work legally in the US
